A Major Milestone

Sometime yesterday while the Playfriends were at their monthly RWA meeting (except for Smarty Pants and Problem Child who are traveling), the Writing Playground hit a major milestone.

We received our 10,000th hit!

To be honest, when I set up the blog back last winter I wondered if anyone would ever read it besides us. Would anyone find our daily posts interesting? Or would our audience be limited to our mothers and best friends or a few pity visits from writing pals?

We've developed an audience that has grown little by little and all their visits to the blog have lead to this moment.

I'd like to send out a great big thank you to our readers. I know there are plenty of you who read but never comment. I wish you would. Comment that is. It lets us know how we're doing and helps point us in the right direction with the blog.

I'm opening the floor to suggestions now so here's your chance to add your two cents. What would you like to see on the blog? More about writing? More about books? More about other writers? Occasional guest bloggers? You tell us and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks again to all our fans for their support in getting us to this point.

Wow!!! Look what happens while we're off doing other things.

I want to add my Thank You's too. I'd never blogged or even read a blog before we started this one, and it has been a wonderful experience.

I agree with Marilyn! Comment. Tell us what you want to see. I'm really interested in knowing.

I love the blog the way it is, but your suggestions sound good. I'd love to learn more about what you read and your WIPs. I just enjoy coming and visiting each day, even if I don't always comment.

I have to agree with the others - I really like what you're already doing. Keep up the good work - and thanks!
