Angel's Birthday Post

Yes, I'm late posting this morning. Yesterday I was tired from trying to get way too many things done, so I went to bed early. My darling husband let me sleep in this morning, because today is my birthday (as you can see from the post below. Thanks, y'all!!!).

I think I may be the first Playfriend to actually blog on the day of her birthday. Cool!

Today I'm going to be short and sweet (I can just hear the Playfriends howling with laughter at the thought.). When my husband asked me what I wanted to do today, I said that I wanted to write and relax. That's all. I didn't want to be rushing or worrying about running here and there, I just wanted some time to write my pages (before midnight) and work on plotting and such. Take a nap. Enjoy my family. Slow down my pace a little (especially since it has seemed frenetic recently). And that's what I'm going to do.

Tonight I'm going to dinner at my twin sister's house (didn't know that about me, did ya?). This will be the first time in seven years, I think, that we'll be able to be together on our actual birthday. Welcome home, Sis!

I hope you also find the chance to enjoy a slower pace today. Even if you have to work or run errands or put out the fires of other people's crisis, I hope you take a little time for you. And keep in mind these words that come from the card the Playfriends gave me at my birthday celebration:

That's exactly what I'm going to do.
