MOANday

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Today's MOANday hunk is George Clooney. Now, I have to admit that George Clooney wasn't my choice, but he appeared on the request list several times. He's just never been a guy who floated my boat much, despite his superstar status.

But when I started looking for pictures, I found a few that did rev my engine a bit. Here he is looking casual:

Dressy ain't so bad either:

This is my fave... Great face! Enjoy!

PS. We're very lucky to have MOANday today. It took me hours to put this post together because my computer just wouldn't cooperate. Don't you hate it when computers decide they want a day off too?

Ya know, he's a goodlooking guy and I do think he's a very good actor, BUT (you could see that but coming couldn't you) he sort of reminds me of my brother-in-law through the eyes and my bil tops my list of relatives I'd rather weren't.

You know, I liked him when ER first started. And then he got that eternal bachelor thing going and it sorta turned me off. But I've been seeing him with his girlfriend lately (the one that was in the accident with him) and if that isn't a man in love I don't know who is. And to me, that's sexy as hell. Somehow it's more poetic when the skeptics fall hard.

Ooo, I think George is the ultimate fix-me male. And I like that he hasn't become tabloid fodder.

Umm, I don't know. I'm a little unmoved.

I've never been on the Clooney bandwagon. My opinion is evolving as he gets older, though. He's getting more of a Cary Grant-like appeal.

I think George is like wine -- getting better with age. And I second that Cary Grant appeal opinion. When he's in a tux he's definitely very debonaire a la Mr. Grant. And not only is he beginning to garner respect in front of the camera, but behind it as well.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I lost all respect for him as a human being when he said that Charleton Heston DESERVED having Alzheimer's because Heston was president of the NRA. That's a mean spirit, there. I refuse to see any movie he's in, now, and before that he was one of my favorite actors.

He said WHAT?

Instigator -- Yeah, that was my reaction, too. When Charleton Heston announced that he had Alzheimer's, Clooney said that he deserved it for being president of the NRA. It was all over the news at the time. This was three or four years ago.

I agree with PM, he is getting better looking with age. I hate that about men!!

Maven Linda, it was so much fun to see you this weekend. I will never look at cows the same way.

I missed the children though. (sniff)

Oh, I forgot to mention that I got to meet Jen. Hi Jen, thanks for introducing yourself!

I really don't care for it when actors and musicians get involved with politics and social issues. That goes for George as well as Charleton. And Sean Penn. And Bono. And anyone else that isn't, in fact, a politician.

I'm in agreement with Maven Linda. I'm not impressed with George. Was tempted when he played Batman but even though he manages to keep his private life private, he still manages to speak inappropriately and has a stand-offishness I don't like. On the bright side everyone, he's close buddies with Brad. Sculpted by the All Mighty, Brad (though I'm not really into him either) has great talent yet lives his life to help PEOPLE and without all the media attention.

He floats my boat. All I can say is thank you for the glorious pictures.

If George could see, I know he would probably laugh.
