MoanDay

The thing I love about today's MoanDay Man? To me, he seems like a regular guy. He's not extraordinarily handsome; he's not ugly either. In terms of his face, he's just an average guy with some character. He's actor Jason Statham:

But not many average guys have bodies like this one:

Though I imagine you have to be ripped to appear in action adventure movies like The Transporter, Crank, and War with Jet Li.

What do you think of average... with a touch of Wow!

I have been a fan of Jason's since "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Definitely my kind of guy!

Very handsome.

He's new to me. How'd I miss him?

I like him, but I think it has more to do with his quirky deadpan sort of humor (could be the script, not him, but you know...)I've only seen him in the Transporter, but I liked him. I wish I could see those pics. :(

I like him best with his clothes off -- well, his shirt, anyway! :))))

Ah, Moan-day!! At last! Thanks, Angel. :-)

Hmmm... such a sweet morsel. Jason Statham is the coolest!! Did you know he was a World Champion diver? Just caught him in CHAOS with Ryan Phillipe and Wesley Snipes. Excellent!!

To his credit, he plays a toughie. He was a very BAD boy in WAR. There's something about the way he moves, the look in his eyes, a charisma pictures don't catch. Jason's a man of action and to truly appreciate his appeal, you must watch his movies.

Transporter 1 & 2, Ghosts of Mars, Revolver, The Italian Job, The One, Snatch, Cellular, Collateral, The Pink Panther, Crank, War, Chaos, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. He'll soon be seen in The Bank Job, Death Race, Transporter 3, Crank 2, and the Brazilian Job.

Ah Jason!! Drool!

...the Brazilian Job

Sounds like someone getting waxed. *snicker*

Me too, Chelle.

I even winced a little...

LOL! I needed that laugh, Chelle.

I'm not familiar with Jason but he's definitely going in my hero file.

See, I get introduced to bunches of heroes I wouldn't normally see because the hubby watches all kinds of action movies. Lots of material there!!! :)

Too funny, chelle and PC! I never made that connection. LOL.

Its me again.

Off of my subject expertise most definitiely. Instigator needs to watch the movie Crank. Unusual movie but it does display his lovely accent. It also demonstrates his character soft side toward his love interest in the movie.

Might lead to subject side plot matter in future publications.

Now be nice.

I am only trying to inspire the voices in your head. Or I might just be going soft.

The mothering instinct in my is taking over due to the newborns.

See, I can introduce farm animals into any subject matter.

And here I was wondering what birdzilla could possibly have to say on hunk day...
Some of the hubby's movies totally don't interest me. But he'll tell me which ones might fit my taste and encourage me to try them. I find he's usually right. Only occassionally will I give up in the middle and quit watching.

The first movie I saw him in was Transporter. I don't think he's particularly attractive (not bad mind you) but his charisma makes you totally forget that. I always thought that was true of all the great actors.
