I'm Officially Tired...

But it's a good kind of tired. The kind that comes from satisfying work and playing hard. I'm tired from cooking and eating with family and friends. Chatting and cleaning up with the other women in our family.

Dragging out the Christmas decorations and starting to fill the house with Christmas spirit. Christmas shopping (yes, I even braved a few stores on Black Friday). And one of my favorite activities of the season—picking out and dressing our Christmas tree.

Boy, I've packed a lot into a week. No wonder I'm tired. :) But today it's back to work. Oh well...

I have to drag out of here and be at the doctor's office at 7:45 for my annual physical. *yawn*

Then I get to come home and start getting together the gifts that must be mailed. I want to beat that mad post office rush.

Angel, I'm with you on being tired. Thanksgiving was wonderful, having the kids here was so nice. The tree is up, most of the shopping is done. (One more day ought to do it.) The only thing looming over my head--besides a book, of course--is Christmas cards. :-)

We didn't make it as far as dragging out the Christmas decorations yet.

We have a solid rule around here--no Christmas decorations until after my birthday.

Which gives me a few extra days before I feel like the Grinch

Well, we don't usually put up our Christmas tree until the first or second week of December, but for various reasons can't do it those weekends, so we got an early start. :)

I'm exhausted but happy. I have most of my shopping done and I got to spend some quality time with my family. Unfortunately, the routine was a little difficult to get back into this morning.

I decorated inside, but no tree yet. DB insists on a real one, so we wait until the 10th or so before we get it.

I did next to nothing all weekend and I'm exhausted. Go figure.

Other than maybe a wreath, I don't decorate anymore. But since my kids weren't around for Thanksgiving, I'm spending the day with #2 son who has rented Transformers for us to watch (he's 25, just in case you were wondering).

Us mom's are such troopers. Anything for our kids.

I'm tired too. Company just left this morning. No tree this year because we're going on a cruise over the holiday. But I still want to put up some lights and decorations. Hubby will try to veto me, I know.

Having a VERY hard time getting back into my routine today. :(
