Monday Morning

I'm way beyond tired this morning. Way, way beyond. I made a last ditch effort to get my house decluttered this weekend. Though I'm still not done with the garage, I'm as close as I can humanly get. After almost a year's worth of work, we sign the contracts to put our house on the market this morning.

As of 8pm last night, I earned 24 Weight Watcher's activity points. My WEEKLY goal is 11, though I rarely meet it. I worked on the garage, planted pansies just in time for the agent to take pictures of the front of the house, cleaned the kitchen, worked on the garage some more, then picked up and cleaned the entire house. I'm amazed I can walk this morning. Last night sitting (and getting up) was not fun. I desperately wish for a vacation.

I know I'm a wuss. I definitely need more exercise.

What does all this have to do with anything? Well, I guess I'm trying to explain why I'm brain dead this morning. :) Sorry. Maybe next week I can be a bit more inspiring.

So what is it that's consuming your thoughts this morning?

I have lots to do, but not as much as Angel. I guess I should get off my behind and get moving.

Oh how well I remember all this. It was just two years ago that we moved. Of course I didn't have two small children but I did have 25 years of "stuff" in the house. And just six months earlier we'd cleaned out my husband's mother's house when she moved to assisted living.

Just stay focused on the end result -- your bigger house.

Today I have to take my car to the shop and then my husband to the airport.

Wow! You got a lot done, Angel! Be proud of yourself. Getting ready for the market is the hardest part. Keeping it clean for the showing comes a close second. But, the hard part is behind you now. Take a deep breathe. You've made good choices. Now let the benefits shower you with blessings.

Today, I've got lots of chores to take care of and a Tennis match to take my son to this afternoon, so my time is limited.

Have a good one, all!

I have so many things occupying my mind this morning. The most important right this second though is getting through the next hour. My mom is picking the girls up from the office to take them bowling. I'll have a few hours of peace and quiet to try and get something accomplished today. I just don't understand why the school insists on giving the kids vacation on the day after a holiday. I had to come to work this morning!

Well, its done! We've signed all the paperwork, been scared to death about tales of the inspection, and given a list of things to do (like I haven't already busted my a$$). But everything will work out in the end in some form or fashion.

Now I have to catch up on all the things I put off to clean. :)

Good luck Angel.

Enjoy your hours off of P&Q, Instigator.

Nothing too much on my mind; just wish a problem with a family member would get resolved and the holidays always remind me of it especially.

I won someething a few weeks ago; just wondering if whatever my surprise was got in the mail.

Thanks.

Pat,

I mailed it the middle of last week. I'm actually surprised you haven't gotten it. Please let me know if it doesn't arrive in the next few days.

Wishing you a speedy sale :)

On my mind right now, the new YA idea that sprang out of nowhere Sat. night and now wants my undivided attention. And sorting out the seeds so once the snow's good and gone I can play in the dirt *g*
