There is nothing like like Mardi Gras in New Orleans!! I have so many wonderful memories!
I've never been to New Orleans...definitely not during Fat Tuesday. I think maybe I missed my window of opportunity. I think I'm too old and too snarly these days to deal with the crazy that comes with Mardi Gras. But the girls went to the local parade this weekend and had a great time! Insti
We lived down that way for five years, and I went to many a Mardi Gras Parade. The first year we went to Bacchus, downtown, Saturday night (I think) and took the kids. Good times. :-) We learned which parades were family friendly and which ones were not, after that, and we did enjoy Mardi Gras when it rolled around.
Me, me!!!! I want to go. I've wanted to revisit New Orleans for forever, but Mardi Gras would be fun to experience just once. :)
