You know how those weekends go, right? You've got this place and that place to go, and a list of a bunch of little things to do that add up to a whole bunch, and before you know it the weekend is gone. Sorry, guys!
Make me feel better here. What whittled away at your weekend?

I spent my weekend sitting around with my foot propped up so it doesn't hurt. I did finish reading one book, read my assignment for a church book study and start reading another novel. I also hosted a meeting here where we watched a webinar. They all brought foot, served me in my recliner chair and cleaned up before they left.
I had big plans for clearing out the extraneous trash from my boys' room while they were away for a youth conference. Instead, I spent a lot of time cuddling with my husband and being lazy. Not as productive on the house front, but definitely worth it on the home front.
Deadline recovery period. ;)
I finished a book and turned it in last week. So I needed the weekend to rest up, reclaim my house, fix a couple of good dinners for my home-cooking deprived family, etc...
I did treat myself by starting in on a great new book, Dana Marton's LAST SPY STANDING. Didn't quite get it done, but since I'm not in deadline writing mode now, I'll get it finished today! (I can't read fiction when I'm writing it, so I treat myself to reading 2-3 books after each ms is done)
My laziness whittled away at my weekend. :-) Took a 3 hour nap on Sat and a 2 hour nap on Sun. But I did manage to get in 20 minutes of Zumba and some grocery shopping. Oh and pinning pictures for tattoo inspiration onto my pinterest account. That counts for something, right?

Hugs, PM! I'm hoping that foot starts getting better now that its casted. That was sweet of everyone to come to you. Sometimes people don't realize what a blessing it is when they clean up after themselves!!! :)
Oh, Miriam. At least twice a year I clean out the kids rooms. That is a chore and a half! I sympathize with you putting it off.
Julie, Great job getting that book turned in! I know when I finish a project, I really need some time to unwind and refill the well. Usually by reading. :) That book sounds really good. I'll have to check it out!
