Getting back into the swing of things is going to take time. And a lot more tea...
Am I the only one who has holiday hangover? Unsure of what day it is, what I need to be doing (yet full of the nagging suspicion I need to be doing something really important)?
My hangover cure-- for hangovers of the usual type -- is lots of water and a high-protein snack. I don't think that will help with this though.
What's your holiday hangover cure?

Lists. I make lists of what I have to do and put them beside my calendar so that maybe I'll know what day it is and do what needs to be done on the right day. I looked today and remembered I have to pay quarterly taxes this month. And renew my anti-virus software. And that's on top of handling wreck business.
Argh indeed!
I agree with you that it is tough to keep the days of the week straight with everyone off at weird times. I agree with PM that lists are a good way to keep myself on track.
My cure for the holiday hangover is to dive into work. In fact, I am heading to my classroom in a bit to work so that my tomorrow when I HAVE to be there will go more smoothly.
Yes, definitely lists. I had a 2 week break and trying to get back in the grove today. I should have student workers back this week and I have started a to-do list for them. And I am working on my list for today too! I do have to say that it is wonderful to have list icon on my iphone, no need to keep up with paper.
Take care.
Holiday hangover indeed!!!
My usual modis operandi for the new year is goal lists, etc. That's really motivating for me.
Its not working very well today, though. Returned to work and seems like everything that could go wrong did! For everyone. :( Tough day! But I'm heading for a massage afterward. The joys of having a sil in massage therapy school!!!
