MOANday-Nathan Fillion

My current crush comes from a television show on Monday nights: Castle. I was late jumping on the bandwagon, because I’d gotten out of the habit of watching television on a regular basis. I would mostly just tune in to something vaguely interesting while I did something else, like write or read (weird, I know). I’d stopped watching most of the shows I was addicted to, because they had changed or been cancelled. Then my husband brought home the first season of Castle on DVD!

He’d always been a fan of Fillion from back in the Firefly days, when he played Joss Whedon’s version of a Space Cowboy:

I, on the other hand, appreciate him for other reasons. ;) I'm a sucker for bulging biceps...

He’s a superb actor with a great sense of timing, and reminds me of my hubby with his innuendo filled one liners.

But my favorite parts of the show are seeing him staring broodingly at the computer screen while he’s typing away. That’s probably the least interesting to other people, but I find a touch of communion with the character there, because I understand what that moment feels like.

So Nathan Fillion gets my vote this month because he’s relatable, and hunky!!!

I still remember him as Joey on "One Life to Live."

I love this show! It's one of the few I schedule into my week now too. What is it with TV lately? Nothing holds my interest...not even the shows I normally watch.

Oh be still my heart!

I love this show and especially the sexual tension between Castle and Beckett. I also love his relationship with his daughter and the scenes between them. Sometimes she has to be the parent. And his mother! Love her too. There's just Castle love everywhere today, isn't there?

The first time I noticed him was in the movie "Waitress" with Keri Russell. I thought he was adorable. These pictures do not bring adorable to mind, however. Yum.

Very nice! I still haven't got a chance to watch Castle...maybe tonight!

Yes, yes, yes! :) Loved it last week when he was wearing his Mal costume and his daughter said, "Isn't that so 5 years ago?" LOL!

I forgot about him being in "Waitress." Now I'll be humming that silly pie song all day.

I love this show as well. In fact I've taped all of the series. The Chemistry between Castle and Beckett is wonderful.

Looking forward to your birthday bash!

Glad to see all the Castle love going on today!!! I haven't seen Waitress, but I may have to check it out. Although, cute isn't exactly what I was looking for, even though he has his cute moments on Castle.

I also enjoy the relationship with his daughter. Nice juxtaposition there. Sometimes you have to wonder, "Where did she come from?"

I watched this show from the beginning and it turned into my favorite right away - sorry NCIS lol. I always like some humor and he does it wonderfully and is sexy at the same time. It's a great cast and what could be better than an author connected with a who done type show.

I started watching Nathan Fillion when he was Joey on OLTL. Castle is one of my favorite shows on tv right now and I'm so glad it has turned into a hit.

See, I still think of him as the Evil Preacher Caleb on Buffy the Vampire Slayer...

DG is a fan of Castle, and he keeps encouraging me to watch it. I'm afraid I might like it too much...
