Free Book Friday - Launch Party Edition

This month, we're combining Free Book Friday with the book launch of Kimberly's new book - Magnate's Mistress... Accidentally Pregnant! This is partly because of my faux paux last month in leaving her out of the Presents Giveaway (which I may never hear the end of) but mostly because the book is awesome and we wanted to share it with all of you.

And don't take my word for it - Magnate's Mistress... Accidentally Pregnant! has been #5 on the Walden Books Bestseller List for two straight weeks and... wait for it... just hit the USA Today Bestseller List at #93! All those people can't be wrong. A big congratulations to Kimberly!

Magnate's Mistress... Accidentally Pregnant!
by Kimberly Lang (AKA Problem Child)

Pregnant by the wild and wicked billionaire!

Ally Smith might have dumped her cheating fiancé, but she refuses to waste her non-refundable honeymoon in the Caribbean!

Trying to embrace her freedom, Ally meets sexy stranger Chris Wells… Not recognizing him as the famous thrill-seeking tycoon, Ally throws caution to the wind and allows Chris, with his hot body, to sweep her into an even hotter summer fling!

But back home Ally realizes that, unlike her tan, memories of their wild night will never fade… Oh-so-sensible Ally is expecting the playboy's baby!

Click here to order on eHarlequin!

So today, we celebrate the new book's release and her Bestseller List success with the traditional Playground party elements - chocolate, alcohol and Cabana Boys! (How do other people celebrate without these critical pieces, I often wonder?) I've fired up the chocolate fountain and Raoul is behind the bar mixing up celebratory Teeter Totters for everyone. Let's get this party started.

Since it is Free Book Friday, we're also going to be giving away a copy of Magnate's Mistress... Accidentally Pregnant! to one of our commenters. To enter, comment with the phrase "I want a hot summer fling ...uh... I mean, read!" Also, for fun, share your best vacation souvenir. Not everyone can come home with a billionaire's baby, but maybe a nifty snow globe or something. My favorite is a pair of Swarovski crystal champagne flutes that I bought at the Swarovski factory in Innsbruck, Austria. They're absolutely beautiful and one day I hope to use them at my wedding.

The summer that I was 16 my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by taking a trip to Europe. My sister and I went along with them. I bought a beautiful Delft bracelet in Amsterdam. It was my favorite for years!

Also, on my honeymoon we traveled and camped through the West. I gifted my mom & dad and grandparents with this cute wooden arrangement with seagulls from San Francisco. When my grandparents both died I was given it back. My daughter had a nautical themed wedding and she used it. I was touched.

"Jack, looks like they'll be having rum over at the playground today. Strap on your blunderbuss and let's partay!"

"Did you say, rum?"

"Aye, aye Cap'n."

"I don't see any mugs of grog yet? Where are those cute little cakes? And the ladies, where are the ladies?"

"Give it time. We're always the first ones to arrive."

First, here's a big yeehaw to Kimberly for hitting the USA Today list! We're so proud of you.

My favorite vacation souvenir? I honestly think the memories are my best souvenirs. Things break or get lost, but memories last forever.

Now please pass me one of those fruity drinks please. :-)

I don't really have a favorite vacation souvenir. We don't take vacations much or travel! Although I have a few thimbles that people have brought me from different places so since I collect thimbles I am very proud of them but I only have a few.

I already have the book, of course! Huge, mega-congrats! I told you that you'd hit the list!!! I can't wait to celebrate this milestone with you. It's been such a ride since hitting the list, so it's great to have company. :) I know *exactly* how you feel. Enjoy every moment!!!

And congrats to the lucky winner, whoever they may be -- you'll love this story!

My best souvenir was a lighter cover with my name on that my husband bought me on our honeymoon.

My favorite souvenier would have to be a rock I brought home from the Mississippi river. I still have it from when I was like 8. No value at all, but very sentimental.

My favorite souvenir joins me in another dram of rum, and bids ye all a hearty partay.

Selling a book. Selling 2-3 more. Making the USA Times Best-Seller's List... priceless.

I'm with PM; I don't collect physical souvenirs, but my memories are priceless.

Yay, Kim! Crank up the Teeter-Totter machine (who needs rum?) and let's Partay!

Thanks everyone! (I'm a little late to the blog today -- I got to be on the radio this morning. Scary -- especially since I was half-asleep and don't remember half of it! Full report on Tuesday!)

Yes, I'm still all a-squee for making the USA Today list. Every now and then a little giggle just sneaks up on me.

But party on, my friends. I might have to go take a nap first. (Seriously, these people get up and go to work every *day* at 4am? That sucks.)

Congratulations, Kimberly!! Wow. USA Today best-seller list. You go, girl.

No need to enter me; I'm still drowning in my TBR pile. But I need to mention that my current favorite souvenir is a set of four cheap plates (a buck each) we bought in Virginia 'cause they were cheaper than paper plates. We needed plates 'cause we were making dinner in the middle of Shenandoah National Park. Eating with your fingers among other park-goers (all of whom have silverware, among other civilized things) just wasn't going to cut it.

Oh, yeah. I posted about this over at Win a Book. Thanks for the e-mail!

Right after hubby and I married, I got a beautiful porcelain clam shell with the edges dipped in 14K gold and a pearl in the center from la maddalena, Italy almost 22 years ago. It shimmers and sparkles and reminds me of the magic of those early married days.

I accidentally broke it in half when I dropped it years later, but couldn't bear to part with it so I keep it wrapped in a thick cloth and stored.

"I want a hot summer fling...uh...I mean read!" I'm a postcard collector so everywhere I go I pick up postcards. It's cheaper than a lot of things. Congratulations on hitting the best seller lists.

My favourite souvenirs from trips are the pictures and memories!

Ok here goes, "I want a hot summer fling...uh...I mean, read!" How awesome Kimberly! A big congrats! Just released some balloons and tooted my horn!

I am pretty sentimental and I have been on numerous trips so the best souvenirs are the memories I have of each trip I have taken with my loving and dearest hubby! We love road trips the most and I have so many good memories of the places we stopped at on the way that weren't on the schedule but we had stumbled upon. Neat farmstands with unique gifts up in the mountains, castle souvenirs when we went to Hearst castle and the scary busride up the hill going to the castle, the inclinator in Pennsylvania was a real blast, etc. Memories are the best things of all and hold a place near and dear to my heart.

Great job Kimberly on the hit book. Can't wait to read it.

My favorite souvenir would be my london snow globe(lol) or just maybe the big conch shell I found in the bahamas.
