MOANday-Channing Tatum

Several of the movies I’ve been to lately have opened with the trailer of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. I couldn’t help but notice this ultra hottie in it.

In addition to modelling for clothing designers like Abercrombie & Finch, Channing Tatum has played in CSI: Miami, Step Up, Fighting, and most recently, in Public Enemies with the Playground's very favorite Johnny Depp. In looking up information on Channing, one significant fact stood out. He was born in Cullman, AL, which is where our local RWA chapter holds its meetings. Goes to show Alabama CAN raise some prime specimens!

Are you an action film kind of girl? Or romantic comedies? Suspense or horror? What upcoming movies are you most looking forward to seeing?

Wow, he's hot. I can't wait for G.I. Joe to be released. I like action movies and crude comedies like Wedding Crashers and The Hangover.

Wow! Thanks for a great start to my day Angel!

I love an action movie. The more things that blow up the better I like it, of course the fact that most action heros are hotties doesn't hurt.

I'm more of a romantic comedy gal, though I enjoy some action movies like Indiana Jones or Star Wars. No horror though.

I don't know what's coming out so I don't know what to look forward to. Is that sad or what? My mom and I watched "The Women" last night with Meg Ryan, Annette Benning, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith, Candace Bergen and Bette Midler. No hunks in sight but a lot of good laughs.

Born in Cullman, huh? My, my. Wonder what other hotties are from Alabama?

I like things to be light and funny. Not necessarily crude or pointless, but silly and fun. Rom coms are always good, although I'm too tough of a critic to really enjoy most of them.

I can do without explosions, aliens and tanks, which of course are DB's movie requirements. If I have to watch an action flick, I prefer the comic book based ones.

I also don't need a lot of angst in my film entertainment, although for some reason, I watched 3 angst-ridden movies yesterday - uber angsty - Peyton Place, The Stone Boy and the Ice Storm. I don't know what was with that channel, but I just didn't change it all day.

I had no idea he was from Cullman. Interesting.

I like rom coms. I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I also tend to like things like national treasure and the davinci code. I'm not one for horror or scary. I can take some shoot 'em up action now and again but it isn't my favorite.

Stephanie, I agree that there is some definite eye candy that makes action flicks worth watching. :)

PM, my mom raved over The Women. I want to rent it.

SP, that's one reason why I don't watch a lot of rom com. It has to be particularly outstanding for me to like it. And I think the compression of the film bothers me. I'd rather read a book and have it completely fleshed out for me.

I like all kinds of movies, except I really don't watch horror movies anymore. I'm really excited to see G.I. Joe and Where the Wild Things Are.

Channing is such a hottie! Had no idea he was from Cullman.

Horror is definitely OUT for me. The rest I'll try. It depends on mood. I'm totally looking forward to this G.I. Joe movie. It looks like it could be interesting -- and I have an urban fantasy idea brewing, so like to see this kind of stuff.

I'm sure it won't compare to Star Trek (Spock, sigh!).

I also love rom coms. I just recently watched Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. I didn't even know it existed! Great, great fun and so cute.

Oh my, this guy's from Cullman hmm? Sweet home Alabama!

a friend of mine works with TSA at Montgomery Airport and Channing walked through his the security line one day a few weeks ago. He's very nice and seemed like 'he was someone I knew from high school'. Very down to earth. My friend is a guy so when I asked him if Channing was as hot in person, he just rolled his eyes... :-)
