I made the DH drive out in the country a few miles from the house and turn it loose. He made me come with him. I yelled "Run, Forrest, run!" when he scooted out of the cage. "And don't come back!"
I also discovered the nest is under the neighbor's furnace unit. The house has been empty for almost two years until just a week or so ago. But I never see the new neighbor. When I do, I will definitely mention the rabbit family and suggest in a nice way he might want to do something about it. I'm sure that can't be good to have animals under the furnace.
Congratulations! Now the catching of those other little rabbits.
